My favorite movie character of all time is Tigress from Dreamworks’ Kung Fu Panda. Although she is an animated character, she embodies many strong characteristics that I admire. These include courage, honor, loyalty, respect, strength, intelligence, and endurance. At the same time, she possesses a soft side that shows through her compassion toward others, particularly the weak and oppressed. I also like the fact that she is a leader both by inclination and choice, and that she stands up to her role with dignity and determination. I’m excited with the development of her character in future KFP movies, and whether she will evolve from being a tritagonist to being a deuratagonist, or even as a protagonist in her own movie!
